3-toothbrushes-in-a-bag

There was once I went to Giant. I saw a mom and her teen son shopping with her. Her hand holds a list of things to buy. They were shopping on a tight budget, choosing on the lowest price on whatever items they needed.

It was the toothbrush section where I saw these two person. They weren't there to relax, they were moving fast, and making decisions fast based on the price and the things to do after their shopping. Now, we do know that Giant or Carrefour sells 3-toothbrushes-in-a-bag toothbrushes that cost only RM5. Yes they are cheap. And the brush quality is cheap too. Yes, those two were selecting one of the many 3-toothbrushes-in-a-bag toothbrushes that were displayed there. They just took the cheapest one and sped off.

There I was... Witnessing their efforts, to control spending, to purchase as much as possible on a small budget, despite the quality of the brushes being below par. And I was beside them finding a single toothbrush that I would want to use, that I would feel proud of using, just because it has those complicated designs that was "clinically proven" to be able to remove more plague than other brushes. It's not to say I only use expensive brushes... It's my teeth that grew so tight to each other that I need something better to brush off those hard to reach places...

So it's not that I don't use cheap brushes... I'm just trying to clean my teeth to white. Some say yellow teeth are born in to you and that it's stronger than natural white teeth... But some say it's because you SMOKE! which obviously I DON'T! It's because... for two years when nurses were in our school to give free dental checkups, they said my teeth were yellow... because I SMOKE! which obviously! I DON'T! I've even tried smoker's toothpaste... And really have to take a long long time to brush it till it shines white.

That day was a Sunday evening. Where the Kenari went back to a place 300km far. Where I saw a Cumulonimbus that looked like a crawling baby. Where I found what I was searching for. And learnt a lesson from that mom and son.
