2nd Day.

Our second day in Langkawi starts with the 4 girls head to the hotel restaurant for the free buffet breakfast... While the 4 boys... ate bread with kaya and instant noodles... And I? I... took instant noodles... Maggie mee, chicken flavoured, green colour... yea...

Anyway... After breakfast, we head off to the famous Langkawi Underwater World. I'll do some comparison later... This facility... It also has a duty free shop. Selling my dad's favourite Remy Martin, at RM 128. The day before, I bought one RM133... This place, has lesser sea creatures since the last time I came, which was 10 years ago... No more underwater walks... No more sharks... No more stingrays... Much of the attraction had changed to exotic reptiles and mammals... A picture with a python cost RM5... And with our tight budget... And our phobia to snakes... Nah... we wouldn't bother... BUT, one thing's for sure, I touched it. And then YY touched it. And then... Who else touched it??? SY?
One of the two swans in Underwater World.
Emperor penguins on the march.

After all the ducks, swans, pythons, and parrots, souvenior shops are expected near the exit. There, SJ and YY bought phone ornaments: a small piece of rice with writtings of your choice, in a kind of substance... that doesn't softens the rice... till now... not soft yet...
Anyway, the others didn't buy anything...

The last time I was here, there weren't any shops in front of this Underwater World building. Nor was there so many cars... I remembered it was a real big empty field... But now, a row of shops is in front of Underwater World now. So as it's sides, with budget hotels and more souvenior shops... And the shops in front is where we had our lunch. A malay shop selling seafood. Buffet style. For some reason, the things that I want to share with my group of friends ends up in the bin... Which pains me to know. Maybe I should've took smaller portion coz people thinks it's 'exotic'... What did I want to share? Belachan petai... Well... If you don't like it, maybe just say:" I don't like it and don't ask me to try." Which is more than enough to stop anybody from asking you to... But he just have to give additional comments and hurt my feelings... Just because I eat this 'exotic' dish...

The difference between Underwater World and Aquaria. Yes. I'm going to compare it with Aquaria. Of course, Aquaria is newer, Underwater World is older... Which one would people prefer? Aquaria. Underwater World is 2nd because of the recent incident where more than 500 fish died of poisoning. Causing lesser species of fish, and no underwater experience.

After lunch, we went to Kuah again for shopping. Only this time, we're all spending lesser... We stopped by in a souvenior shop yet again. The girls were in there for half an hour... And the boys only 5 minutes... While the girls were in there, we planned for our next destination.

Cendol pulut and asam laksa of this island is famous. And yes, next destination, cendol pulut. On our way there, we saw this place, Perhentian Pemandangan Cantik... Uh huh... Out of curiousity, I requested to check it out. True enough, the view was cool. It's a small mountain, and a hut built on top of it like the ones you see in North-South Highway. Beyond this small mountain is Langkawi Airport. And we were lucky enough to witness an Airbus A330 from AirAsia taking off. Between a beach and an air strip near Langkasuka, a truck sold those 2 things. As we were enjoying our cendol and laksa, we can enjoy the beach breeze, and watch some cadet pilots take off to the south.

We were thinking... What's there to do at the beach without a ball to play with??? We stop by at a mini market after cendol and bought an inflatable ball... But he say he don't wan to get wet at the beach, and not a fan of wet shirt... "Not a fan of wet shirt" my @$$... =.= We went off to Cerating beach anyways... Without him.

Cerating beach was fun, until we feel itchy stings while we're in the water, and found dead jellyfish lying around on the beach. But if you touch it, it really feels like jelly. After all it's body is 99% made of water. Then we saw banana boat... The adventurous girl, SY, thought it was fun... I didn't think it was... But it was. That G force that flings you out of the rail-less banana-shape-boat... wow... makes you think, don't ever drink and drive... Yea... Use your imagination.

For our dinner... Malay food again, only it's thai style... A stall also near the airstrip, selling tomyam seafood. But of course, if you have a walk around Selayang or Desa, you'll see tomyam foodstalls. Operated by who? And why's it always look empty? Hahaha... Actually, the food ain't bad. And once we have our seat, almost immediately, the crowd gathers. Thai styled food may sound too tad common or not interesting, but if you really sit down and try it, you'll start to think otherwise. Haha.
The craziest Monopoly game in history...

That pretty much sums up the 2nd day.
