Yes, you're just one person. Global warming is becoming a serious issue. Human population is getting bigger and bigger as we speak. Humans are trying to suit the needs of countless other humans at the face of Earth... "I'm just one person."
28th of March, 2009. 8.30pm to 9.30pm. Ask uncles and aunties out there in KL. They'd say, "WHAT?! Switch off the lights?? That's a load of crap. There are more things important than switching off the lights. We've been switching off the lights for 8 to 10 hours a day when we sleep!"
That's true... We do switch everything off at night when we sleep... Except for fans or air cons... But the main point of this Earth hour is telling the world, that we, as the beings living on Earth, cares. Show to whom? Show to whoever it may concern. Who's gonna take action? NGO's? GOV? Haha...
I remember those days when I'm studying... I used papers... Lots and lots of papers... Regardless of what the hell I'm doing. Just scribble and scribble and scribble... To say I'm wasting natural resources, that'd be wrong... Coz if I don't, I wouldn't be studying. Students are the worst people that wastes natural resources... Is that definition even right?
Global warming... There's but a little help we could do to slowdown global warming. Global warming will still happen even if we do all those "necessary" precautions, only slower. To completely stop global warming is to cease civilisation and to live in caves and wear nothing but leaves to... cover... err... use your imagination...
"I'm just one person. What can I do about global warming?"
Save the planet with what u can do. Don't bother if you can't. Coz if you can't and tries to save the planet, you'll get into troubles.
