People with creativity and thinking of their own often modifies the story and links it with the corparate ladder. The story then continued saying the rabbit thought of it's mistake and decided it was his own mistake that he took things for granted and would've won easily... And asked the tortoise to race again... Tortoise agreed and lost... Coz he's too slow and rabbit too fast. They say slow and steady always wins. But then, fast and consistent wins more effectively. So if it's linked with the coparate ladder, it means if you're using the bright, shinning, safe road, you're bound to get there, up there, safely. But if you're taking the highway with no lamp post, you'll reach the top faster with your own headlights.
So the moral of the story is that, failure is part of life that no one can hide from. And a failed one should stand up and soar again. BUT! FAILURE, means losing. Losing isn't going to go away so easily... When you lose, you lose everything. Time, for starters. Hope from others. Friends if it's bad enough. Life if there's nothing left... Many people seems to say, standing up from failure, is like lifting up a cent on the floor. SOOOOO simple they think...
I'll tell you what's it like. When you fail, you lost TEN years of your life trying to climb back to where you were before. When you fail, people will console you for FIVE minutes and they leave. When you fail, your parents scolds you and limits your movements as to punish you for your failure. And then you'll have to wait TEN!!! long years before things go back to normal. When you fail, YOU ARE ALONE!!! When you fail, YOU ARE NOTHING.
So please. Don't take failure for granted. You'll never know what will hit you...
